I’ve been going through the pics of our trip almost every day, and man, did we have a siiick time! It was really epic! I don’t think anyone of us knew what was in store, it was an unforgettable experience, one that I will most definitely treasure for years to come.
Personally, the reason I had such an amazing trip, was all thanks to you bro. I can’t thank you enough for taking care of us and really showing us a once in a lifetime experience. I really appreciate all the effort you put in and the work you did in order for us to have such a great time. So again, thank you my brother. Billabong Europe – Adventure Division – Moroccan Journey, Winter 2011

South African filmmaker Jason Hearn has spent the last two and half years documenting many top surfers riding thousands of perfect waves all over the coast of the African continent.  Morocco was one Jason’s main destinations and they scored epic waves from Anker’s going off to heavy barrels at some slabs.  The crew surfing Morocco were South African pro surfers Rudy Palmboom, Shaun Joubert and Frankie Oberholzer along with surf photographer Greg Ewing. It was a great pleasure to surf with these guys.

On this trip we take in at least 600km of coast south of Agadir, scoring waves at secret spots along the way.  Travelling through Sidi Ifni and Tan Tan, watch as the landscape changes and Saharan desert dunes appear, checking out the town of Tarfaya and surfing great waves north and south of it.  As with all our trips we’ll be staying in specially selected local accomodations and eating local cuisine – camel kebabs, tajines and fish bbqs – experience the real Morocco, experience the Sahara.
